111: The Palm Fibre (سُورَةُ المَسَدِ)

1	Perish the hands of the Father of Flame! Perish he! بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم تبت يدا أبي لهب وتب Tab bat yadaa abee Lahabinw-wa tabb
2	No profit to him from all his wealth, and all his gains! ما أغنى عنه ماله وما كسب Maa aghna ‘anhu maaluhu wa ma kasab
3	Burnt soon will he be in a Fire of Blazing Flame! سيصلى نارا ذات لهب Sa yas laa naran zaata lahab
4	His wife shall carry the (crackling) wood – As fuel!- وامرأته حمالة الحطب Wam ra-atuh hamma latal-hatab
5	A twisted rope of palm-leaf fibre round her (own) neck! في جيدها حبل من مسد Fee jeediha hab lum mim-masad
