![]() By the (Steeds) that run, with panting (breath),
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم والعاديات ضبحا
Wal’aadi yaati dabha
|
2 |
![]() And strike sparks of fire,
فالموريات قدحا
Fal moori yaati qadha
|
3 |
![]() And push home the charge in the morning,
فالمغيرات صبحا
Fal mugheeraati subha
|
4 |
![]() And raise the dust in clouds the while,
فأثرن به نقعا
Fa atharna bihee naq’a
|
5 |
![]() And penetrate forthwith into the midst (of the foe) en masse;-
فوسطن به جمعا
Fawa satna bihee jam’a
|
6 |
![]() Truly man is, to his Lord, ungrateful;
إن الإنسان لربه لكنود
Innal-insana lirabbihee lakanood
|
7 |
![]() And to that (fact) he bears witness (by his deeds);
وإنه على ذلك لشهيد
Wa innahu ‘alaa zaalika la shaheed
|
8 |
![]() And violent is he in his love of wealth.
وإنه لحب الخير لشديد
Wa innahu lihubbil khairi la shadeed
|
9 |
![]() Does he not know,- when that which is in the graves is scattered abroad
۞ أفلا يعلم إذا بعثر ما في القبور
Afala ya’lamu iza b’uthira ma filquboor
|
10 |
![]() And that which is (locked up) in (human) breasts is made manifest-
وحصل ما في الصدور
Wa hussila maa fis sudoor
|

![]() That their Lord had been Well-acquainted with them, (even to) that Day?
إن ربهم بهم يومئذ لخبير
Inna rabbahum bihim yauma ‘izil la khabeer
|
